Time to Travel…Almost

It seems like everyone is traveling. School’s out and people have fanned out for various adventures to lakes, beaches, festivals and beyond. I’m not complaining, but as of now, I’m here in my hood through October.

I live at the beach, but I must confess…my wanderlust is starting to twitch and my daydreamy brain is fast forwarding to October in Hawaii and January in Mexico. Oooooh the deliciousness of taking yourself out of your day to day surroundings to submerge somewhere else for just a bit. This is the longest stretch of time I’ve stayed put in a while. And with San Diego summer weather still being a bit unpredictable, I may just have to venture east for some sunny hikes until our beach break gets its act together. And channel beautiful sunny scenes like these…
