Packing for Cabo

It’s been exactly one week since I flew in from Bangkok. And I’m sitting at the airport ready to take off for five sunny days w M in Cabo.

We’re ready, but our plane is coming from Dallas and hasn’t taken off yet due to weather so we may be here a while. No matter, I’ve got books and a blog post to write. It’s May grey in San Diego so the most I’d be doing is hitting a Pilates class or watching the second to last stage of the Giro d’Italia.
We’ve packed light (even for us) with 2 small backpacks and 1 board bag. We got a crazy deal on Spirit Airlines, but that means strict adherence to the one personal item rule. 16″x14″ to be exact. So I accepted the challenge and am pretty proud of the result!

I cheated and made M carry my running shoes and we threw sunscreen in board bag, but still managed to get 6 bikinis, 3 dresses, 1 jumpsuit, 2 pairs of cutoffs, 3 tank tops, 2 t-shirts, 1 pair of running shorts, 1 pair of capris, a small toiletries case and a couple pieces of jewelry.
