25 Squats For 25 Days

We’ve all heard of the 12 days of Christmas, but what about the 25 days of vacay pre-race? Enter in my latest fitness challenge – 25 squats a day for 25 days. Any takers?
It’s officially 25 days until we fly outta hear bound for beautiful Sayulita. Oh thank heavens! I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to a little south of the border, beach time. Wake up, coffee, surf, nap, read, surf, eat, repeat. ♥
However, that also means bikini time is right around the corner (gulp) And this little beauty arrived in the mail a couple of days ago. Isn’t she gorgeous? But the look at the back, it’s the same size as the front (double gulp). I did a nice “gut” check (pun intended) and decided I have a teeny bit of work to do. Plus, who doesn’t love a good challenge to see you through the holiday excess?
No problem, enter in a little more yoga, a little more distance to my running and 25 squats a day. And maybe a post Christmas juice cleanse if I can rally up my will power ~ easy peezy. It will be worth the little extra effort. Add in a spray tan (no judging) and I may just pull this thing off!
Since we signed up for a race in February, anyone visiting Sayulita will see us running through town and along the beach a few times like crazy people. Feel free to cheer us on or heckle…It’s going to be a dreamy vacation and we can’t wait!

The brilliant thing about squats – you can do them anytime, anyplace. I will do them brushing my teeth or blow drying my hair! TMI probably…
